Ahura Mazda

Ahura Mazda is the central divine figure in Zoroastrian thought, understood as the source of truth, wisdom, and order in the cosmos. He is portrayed as wholly good and opposed to deception, chaos, and destruction. Ahura Mazda does not rule through force but through moral authority, encouraging humans to choose truth, right action, and responsibility. His role frames the universe as a moral arena in which human choices contribute to the maintenance or disruption of cosmic order.
