About this tradition
The writings of the OT Pseudepigrapha are numerous and diverse. Several literary genres are represented in this amorphous collection. Their dates of composition also cover a broad period of time, with Ahiqar being the oldest at about seventh or sixth century B.C.E. and the Apocalypse of Daniel the youngest at about ninth century C.E.
