Texts in Conversation
In Numbers 24, an oracle speaks of destruction from Kittim and the downfall of Asshur and Eber. The Greek Septuagint adds a detail not found in the Hebrew, “and seeing Og.” This reference was likely intended to harmonize with earlier narratives.
