Ezekiel 6 has a grammatically awkward phrase about leaving survivors, which may have been added to the Masoretic text to emphasize a remnant after exile. This is missing in the Greek Septuagint, which may reflect the original Hebrew version.

Ezekiel 6:8

Hebrew Bible
7 The slain will fall among you and then you will know that I am the Lord. 8 “‘But I will spare some of you. Some will escape the sword when you are scattered in foreign lands. 9 Then your survivors will remember me among the nations where they are exiled. They will realize how I was crushed by their unfaithful heart that turned from me and by their eyes that lusted after their idols. They will loathe themselves because of the evil they have done and because of all their abominable practices.

LXX Ezekiel 6:8

Septuagint
7 And men will fall dead in the midst of you, and you shall know that I am the Lord. 8 When there are some of you escaping from the sword among the Gentiles, and when you are scattered in the countries; 9 then those of you that escape among the nations where they were carried captive shall remember me; (I have sworn an oath against their heart that prostitutes itself by turning away from me, and their eyes that prostitute themselves by pursuing their practices;) and they shall mourn over themselves for all their abominations.

"... And I will leave some of you ... The Hebrew merely says “And I will leave” and it is textually problematic. It is absent in the Septuagint, and its deletion yields a smooth-reading sentence here: “When you are fugitives of the sword among the nations, when you are scattered in the lands, your fugitives shall recall Me ...” ..."
