Stephen’s speech in Acts 7 says Moses was taught all the wisdom of the Egyptians. Jubilees similarly tries to fill in this narrative gap but says instead that his father Amram taught him to write, so his education stayed inside his own family.

Jubilees 47:9

Pseudepigrapha
8 She went and summoned your mother Jochebed. She gave her wages, and she took care of you. 9 Afterwards, when you had grown up, you were brought to the pharaoh’s daughter and became her child. Your father Amram taught you the art of writing. After you had completed three weeks [= 21 years], he brought you into the royal court. 10 You remained in the court for three weeks of years [= 21 years] until the time when you went from the royal court and saw the Egyptian beating your companion, who was one of the Israelites. You killed him and hid him in the sand.

Acts 7:22

New Testament

For three months he was brought up in his father’s house, 21 and when he had been abandoned, Pharaoh’s daughter adopted him and brought him up as her own son. 22 So Moses was trained in all the wisdom of the Egyptians and was powerful in his words and deeds. 23 But when he was about forty years old, it entered his mind to visit his fellow countrymen the Israelites.
