Psalms of Solomon 8:28
26 We have vindicated your name, forever honored, because you are a God of justice, judging Israel with discipline. 27 O God, tum your mercy towards us, and be compassionate to us: 28 gather the scattered of Israel with mercy and kindness, because your faithfulness is with us. 29 For we have stiffened our necks, but you are our teacher. 30 Don't neglect us, our God, lest the Gentiles swallow us whole as if there were no deliverer.
1 Peter 1:1
1 From Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to those temporarily residing abroad (in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, the province of Asia, and Bithynia) who are chosen 2 according to the foreknowledge of God the Father by being set apart by the Spirit for obedience and for sprinkling with Jesus Christ’s blood. May grace and peace be yours in full measure! 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By his great mercy he gave us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

"... Most of the texts that in various ways speak of Israel's continuing exile and oppression also express hopes of redemption and restoration. They foresee the day when the scattered tribes will be regathered, the city of Jerusalem rebuilt and the temple either rebuilt, refurbished or purified ... The author of Enoch's Dream Visions also anticipates the end of the exile: 'All those [sheep] which had been destroyed and dispersed, and all the beasts of the field and the birds of the sky were gathered together in that house; and the LORD of the sheep rejoiced with great joy because they had all become gentle and returned to his house' (1 Enoch 90:33). The author of the Psalms of Solomon (first century B.C.E.) looks forward to the regathering of the twelve tribes of Israel, part of the messianic task ..."
