1 Enoch 92:4
2 Let not your spirit be troubled on account of the times; For the Holy and Great One has appointed days for all things. 3 And the righteous one shall arise from sleep, [Shall arise] and walk in the paths of righteousness, And all his path and conversation shall be in eternal goodness and grace. 4 He will be gracious to the righteous and give him eternal uprightness, And He will give him power so that he shall be (endowed) with goodness and righteousness. And he shall walk in eternal light. 5 And sin shall perish in darkness for ever, And shall no more be seen from that day for evermore.

5 Now this is the gospel message we have heard from him and announce to you: God is light, and in him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we say we have fellowship with him and yet keep on walking in the darkness, we are lying and not practicing the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light as he himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. 8 If we say we do not bear the guilt of sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 But if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous, forgiving us our sins and cleansing us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar and his word is not in us.

"... For the Apocalypse of Weeks eternal goodness and grace is promised and walking in eternal light is announced for the righteous (1 Enoch 92:3). This is supposed to happen after death because reference is made to the resurrection. The one who is risen from the dead will walk in eternal light (1 Enoch 92:4). God being eternal light, the life after death is qualified by eternal light. There is, in other words, no room for darkness. The reference to the “elect righteous of the eternal plant of righteousness” (93:10) is reminiscent of Enoch’s prayer in the first dream (1 Enoch 84). The salvation from the flood is put in parallel with the salvation from the condemnation after the last judgment. Or, the see of the righteous, is supposed to continue from the post-flood period all throughout history until the last judgment and beyond. This again is visible in the Animal apocalypse which extends the motif of the seed of the righteous, starting from Adam and Seth and by giving the same status to those who are rewarded after the last judgment. These righteous people will also be given surpassing knowledge about all creation (1 Enoch 93:10b). A new heaven is also announced whereby the luminaries will be seven times brighter than they are now ..."
