Wisdom of Solomon 3:7

5 Having been disciplined a little, they will receive great good, because God tested them and found them worthy of himself; 6 like gold in the furnace he tried them, and like a sacrificial burnt offering he accepted them. 7 In the time of their visitation they will shine forth, and will run like sparks through the stubble. 8 They will govern nations and rule over peoples, and the Lord will reign over them forever.

43 For the days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and surround you and close in on you from every side. 44 They will demolish you—you and your children within your walls—and they will not leave within you one stone on top of another because you did not recognize the time of your visitation from God. 45 Then Jesus entered the temple courts and began to drive out those who were selling things there,

"... Likewise, in Wisdom of Solomon 3:7, the words “In the time of their visitation they will shine forth and will run like sparks through the stubble” have some parallel with the words in Luke 19:44 where Jesus says, “because you did not recognize the time of your visitation from God.” ..."
