Psalms 64:8
Hebrew Bible
5 They encourage one another to carry out their evil deed. They plan how to hide snaresand boast, “Who will see them?” 6 They devise unjust schemes; they disguise a well-conceived plot. Man’s inner thoughts cannot be discovered. 7 But God will shoot at them; suddenly they will be wounded by an arrow. 8 Their slander will bring about their demise. All who see them will shudder, 9 and all people will fear. They will proclaim what God has done, and reflect on his deeds.
Esther 7:10
Hebrew Bible
8 When the king returned from the palace garden to the banquet of wine, Haman was throwing himself down on the couch where Esther was lying. The king exclaimed, “Will he also attempt to rape the queen while I am still in the building?”As these words left the king’s mouth, they covered Haman’s face. 9 Harbona, one of the king’s eunuchs, said, “Indeed, there is the gallows that Haman made for Mordecai, who spoke out on the king’s behalf. It stands near Haman’s home and is 75 feet high.”The king said, “Hang him on it!” 10 So they hanged Haman on the very gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. The king’s rage then abated.

The expression 'their own tongues being against them' indicates that God will destroy them by bringing their wicked plots on them instead (the illustration of Haman in the Book of Esther comes to mind here). The malicious charges they planned to bring on the innocent will be applied to them, and they will be brought down by their own words. ...
