Leviticus 16:1

Hebrew Bible
1 The Lord spoke to Moses after the death of Aaron’s two sons when they approached the presence of the Lord and died, 2 and the Lord said to Moses: “Tell Aaron your brother that he must not enter at any time into the Holy Place inside the special curtain in front of the atonement lid that is on the ark so that he may not die, for I will appear in the cloud over the atonement lid. 3 “In this way Aaron is to enter into the sanctuary—with a young bull for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering.

Targum
1 And the Lord spake with Mosheh after the two sons of Aharon were dead, who offered the strange fire before the Lord, and died; 2 and the Lord said unto Mosheh, Speak with Aharon thy brother, that he may not enter at any time into the Holy Place within the veil before the mercy-seat which is upon the ark, that he die not; for in the cloud will I reveal Myself over the mercy-seat. 3 With this shall Aharon enter the holy place: With a young bullock for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering.

Notes and References

"... The Targum substitutes “when they brought the strange fire” for the Bible’s "when they drew near." The change repeats what is explicit in 10:2 and Numbers 3:4, and Rabbi Akiva's view in Sifra, that Aaron's sons were punished because they brought “strange fire” on the altar, and not because they came to the Sanctuary without permission ..."
