Genesis 11:10
8 So the Lord scattered them from there across the face of the entire earth, and they stopped building the city. 9 That is why its name was called Babel—because there the Lord confused the language of the entire world, and from there the Lord scattered them across the face of the entire earth. 10 This is the account of Shem. Shem was 100 years old when he became the father of Arphaxad, two years after the flood. 11 And after becoming the father of Arphaxad, Shem lived 500 years and had other sons and daughters. 12 When Arphaxad had lived 35 years, he became the father of Shelah.
LXX Genesis 11:10
8 And the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they left off building the city and the tower. 9 Therefore its name was called Confusion, because there the Lord confused the lips of all the earth, and from there the Lord God scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth. 10 And these are the generations of Sem: Sem was a son of one hundred years when he became the father of Arphaxad, in the second year after the flood. 11 And Sem lived after he became the father of Arphaxad five hundred years and had sons and daughters and died. 12 And Arphaxad lived one hundred thirty-five years and became the father of Kainan.

"... This is, in fact, the only place in Genesis where this Hebraism occurs. Because the expression is foreign to Greek, the NETS translation is a literal, quantitative rendering that reflects its style as well as its semantic content. Elsewhere in Genesis, the Hebrew age formula is rendered by an appropriate Greek idiom. Thus, in 7:6 it is said of Noah that he was 'six hundred years old' (NRSV) in Hebrew, but 'six hundred years of age' (NETS) in Greek ..."
