The Origins of Yahwism

This work investigates the emergence and development of Yahwism—the worship of YHWH—in ancient Israel. It explores the historical, cultural, and religious contexts that contributed to the formation of a distinct monotheistic tradition. The study examines how Israelite religion evolved from its polytheistic surroundings, focusing on the processes that led to the exclusive worship of YHWH and the establishment of a unique theological identity.
