Fragments 2 ii+6-12

1 concerning the death of our souls, and all his companions entered, and Ohyah told them what had been said to him by 2 Gilgamesh; and Hobabis roared, and it was declared, “Judgment upon his soul.” And the guilty one cursed the princes, 3 and the giants rejoiced over him. And he returned and was cursed [and complained] about him. Then the two of them dreamed dreams, 4 and the sleep of their eyes fled from them, and they arose. [The sleep of] their eyes from them, and they arose and opened their eyes 5 and came to [Shemihazah their father. And then] he recounted their dreams in the assembly of [their companions,] 6 the Nephilim. [And Hahyah said, “A marvel I] was seeing in my dream this night. [Behold,] 7 [a great garden was planted with every kind of tree, and] it had gardeners, and they were watering 8 [every tree in this garden every day, and] great roots came out from their stock. 9 [And from one tree its three roots came out. I] was watching until tongues of fire from 10 [heaven came down. I was watching until the] ground was covered with all the water, and the fire burned among all 11 [the trees of this whole orchard, but it did not burn the tree and its roots in] the earth, while [it was] 12 [being destroyed by tongues of fire and by the waters of the flood.] This is the end of the dream.” 13 [Then Hahyah asked them for the interpretation of his dream, but] the giants were [not] able to explain to him 14 the dream. [And he said to Azazel, “This] dream you shall give [to Enoch,] the scribe of interpretation, and he will interpret for us 15 the dream.” Then his brother Ohyah answered and said before the giants, “I too 16 saw in my dream this night a marvel: behold, the Ruler of heaven came down to the earth, 17 and thrones were set up, and the Great Holy One sat. [A hundred] hundreds were serving him, a thousand thousands were his, 18 [bowing down;] all stood before him. And behold, books were opened, and judgment was pronounced. And the judgment 19 [of the Great One in writing] was written, and with a signature was signed, [and the Great One ruled] over all the living and the flesh, and over 20 [all who] rule. This is the end of the dream.” [And behold,] all the giants were afraid, 21 [and the Nephilim, and] they called Mahway, and he came to the assembly of [the Nephilim and] the giants, and they sent him to Enoch. 22 [And they took thought] and said to him, “Go [to him, for the paths of] the place are familiar to you, for 23 you have heard his voice before. And tell him to declare to you the interpretation of the dreams, and that everything is settled 24 with those who hunger for it, in truth. If there is cunning in it [among them.]

If he has brought [the interpretation of the two dreams, which all] 9 from the days of their […]. And they will be added to [the knowledge and wisdom of the scribe of interpretation concerning] 10 [the matter, so that] we may know from you their interpretation. [Then Enoch interpreted the dreams for Mahway] 11 [and said to him, “Concerning the] gardeners who [came down] from heaven, [they are the watchers who came down …]
