LXX Exodus 21:6
5 And if the servant should answer and say, I love my master and wife and children, I will not go away free; 6 his master shall bring him to the judgment-seat of God, and then shall he bring him to the door,—to the door-post, and his master shall bore his ear through with an awl, and he shall serve him for ever. 7 And if any one sell his daughter as a domestic, she shall not depart as the maid-servants depart.

"... The apodosis of the ἐάν + subjective of verse 5 is explained in verse 6. In that case, his master should lead him 'to the judgment-seat of God' πρὸς τὸ κριτήριον τοῦ θεοῦ. Presumably the reference is to the sanctuary, or even the altar. Exodus's 'judgment-seat' κριτήριον occurs only seven times in the entire LXX (Exodus 21:6; Judges 5:10; 3 Kingdoms 7:44; Susanna [Theodotion] 49; Daniel 7:10; Daniel [Theodotion]. 7:10, 26). It is used for a place or seat of judgment from which one in authority pronounces legal decisions. In Classical usages, it can refer to either the means or standard for judging or a court of judgment. Here the one presiding is clearly expressed as “God” ..."
