Ephesians is a letter written to the community of Jesus followers in Ephesus. The majority of modern scholars do not think this letter was written by Paul, but may have been written in the decades following his death by one of his disciples. The letter was written to address multiple issues in the community including unity among believers, pastoral ministry, ethical Christian living, and to include a parallel household code similar to contemporary Roman culture.
