The Sibylline Oracles is a large collection of Jewish and early Christian oracles written in Greek and attributed to a female prophet known as a Sibyl. Sibylline prophecy dates back to the early Greeks and became very popular in many other cultures in the following centuries. Christian readers as early as the 6th century C.E. considered the oracles an early testimony of Jesus.
