Plutarch Moralia

Plutarch was a Greek-Roman Middle Platonist philosopher, historian, biographer, essayist, and priest at the Temple of Apollo in Delphi. The Moralia (morals) is a group of manuscripts ascribed to him. It contains 78 essays and transcribed speeches that provide insights into Roman and Greek life in the first and second centuries C.E. These texts were later popularized by European Renaissance Humanists and Enlightenment philosophers.
