Galatians is a letter written by Paul to the community of Jesus followers in and around the Ancyra region in the province of Galatia in Asia Minor, correlating with modern day Turkey. The epistle is Paul's most strident, angry letter written to challenge the Galatian believers on their apparent acceptance of the idea that Gentiles must in some sense become Jewish in order to be received into the community.
