Summary
Date: 160 B.C.E. - 60 B.C.E.
Scroll 1Q20, also known as the Genesis Apocryphon, is similar to the book of Jubilees as it contains expanded and rewritten versions of the book of Genesis from the Hebrew Bible. It is an incomplete manuscript, beginning roughly with the story of Noah and is described by scholars as a mixture of Targum, Midrash, rewritten Bible, and autobiography.
