Summary of 2 Corinthians (View)
Date: 55-57 C.E.
Description: 2 Corinthians is a letter written by Paul to the community of Jesus followers at Corinth. While it is traditionally designated as the second letter to this community, a majority of scholars contend that it is a combination of up to five different letters. One primary purpose of the letter is to re-affirm Paul's authority as an Apostle after being publicly affronted during a prior visit.
